- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪So far, I’ve only had one visit, but I changed my son over to Kids@Heart from Just For Kids, and the differences are AMAZING! I could tell right away the difference in my son’s level of comfortability. It was quick and easy to make an appointment. I suggest filling out the registration forms online, if you’re a new patient. Saves so much time, and the receptionist has everything together for you when you go in. The waiting room was so child friendly. There’s toys, a tv; not to mention it’s spacious and clean. Once you go in the back, you can see the big kid sitting area, but my son is too young for that right now, so for all you moms that have little ones (2 and under) the check up rooms are so nice! They have cute teeth chair for your child to sit in with toys and books to occupy them. One of the things that bothered me so much at Just For Kids was that there are so many dentist that work in that one office. So, I was seeing a different one every time, none of them knew my child. But Dr. Martin learned my son’s name, and talked to him and me throughout her entire time with us, she even gave him a balloon on his way out, along with a rubber ducky. I’m so happy I switched. The office was close to my home, which is just an added bonus, but I was really wanting that one on one, personal experience with his dentist that I have with his pediatrician and eye doctor. I like seeing the same person each time, because it helps build trust in knowing that they do know what they’re doing with my son, and I’m lucky to have found that at Kids@Heart!
